WORKING TOGETHER TO ADVANCE REGIONAL NETWORK SERVICES DEVELOPMENT
Join The Quilt Oct. 3 For An Interactive, In-Depth Workshop On Service Development
In the spirit of collaboration and leveraging member’s experience and knowledge for the collective success of the community, The Quilt continues its tradition of offering topical in-depth workshops in conjunction with our fall member meeting. After we conclude The Quilt Fall 2013 Member Meeting in Atlanta, we invite members the Regional Optical Network to join us for a highly interactive workshop on above-the-net service development. This extended conversation, to be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, will continue the discussions of our Quilt Cloud Working Group, which has been exploring the area of services and service development among Quilt member organizations.
The workshop will focus on:
- Learning the features of cost recovery models employed by Quilt members to support their service suites
- Discussing opportunities for Quilt members to do better together as a regional network community than individually in the service space
This workshop is offered for no additional registration fee. There is a separate line item registration choice under the main Registration Page
Since this Workshop will conclude at the end of the day on Thursday, October 3rd, we have extended our room block to through Thursday night to allow for a more flexible departure schedule for our attendees.
